What we like

  • Best-in-class spin in 2026 corpus (HexGrit + T700 combination)
  • Full-foam construction removes core-crush failure mode of VP1
  • Larger forgiving sweet spot than the 14mm VP1 despite same shape
  • Direct competitor to CRBN TruFoam Barrage and B&B Loco at lower price

Where it falls short

  • US$200 list is double the VP1, no longer the value pick the original was
  • Static weight runs light (~7.9 oz), most owners add tungsten tape
  • Direct-only from 11six24.com, 10-14 day landed wait to HK
  • Early HexGrit reports show some ball-marking in first sessions (cosmetic, not performance)

Full review

What it is

The 11SIX24 Vapor Power 2 is the brand's first full-foam (Gen 4) paddle, launched late 2025 alongside the Dekel Bar signing. It pairs a Gen 4 full-foam floating core with 11SIX24's new HexGrit surface over a carbon fiber face. 16mm thickness, 8.0-8.3 oz stock weight, hybrid Vapor shape (16.25" × 7.75"), US$200 direct from 11six24.com. The community signal positions it as the elite-spin paddle of 2026, with the largest spin-positive sentiment count of any paddle in this list. Pickleball Studio measured the VP2 at 2141 RPM, the highest in their matched set, with twist weight 6.6-6.8 and swing weight 108-112.

How it plays

Two things stand out in owner reports. First, the spin. HexGrit on a carbon fiber face produces RPMs that owners describe as "insane" and "tons more spin" than competing paddles. One user comparing it directly against a $300 paddle that "lost 350+ RPM in the first 100 games" reported the VP2 has "tons more spin and the grit is very durable HexGrit." Second, the forgiveness. The move to a full-foam core creates a softer, more pocketing feel than the original Vapor Power's honeycomb-with-foam-edge build. Same hybrid shape and 16mm thickness as the VP1, but full-foam construction expands the effective sweet spot. Owners who returned the VP1 for being too snappy have stuck with the VP2.

The trade-off is weight tuning. Static stock can run light at the bottom of the 8.0-8.3 oz range, which heavier-handed players will want to bring up. Tungsten tape at 3-and-9 or under the handle is the standard tuning move, adding ~5-8g brings it into the 8.1-8.3 oz range owners report as the sweet spot.

Build and specs

Full-foam (not edge foam, not hybrid) — this is the same construction philosophy CRBN brought with the TruFoam Barrage and Friday brought with the Aura line, just with HexGrit instead of standard raw carbon as the surface. Foam core means no possibility of core crushing, which was the dominant failure mode for the previous generation of thermoformed honeycomb paddles. UPA-A approved at launch, USAP approval rolling out by shape.

HexGrit is 11SIX24's proprietary surface tech, marketed as a more durable alternative to standard raw carbon grit. Six-month corpus data is mostly positive on durability, with the only consistent complaint being early-session ball-marking (the surface transfers a small amount of grit to the ball in the first few hours of play, which is cosmetic on the ball but suggests the surface IS shedding microscopic amounts of material). Whether this translates to a slower long-term grit-loss curve than standard raw carbon is too early to confirm.

Where it fits

This is a Gen 4 power-spin paddle for an intermediate player who has already outgrown a Vatic Prism Flash or V-Sol Power and wants the foam-core durability story without paying CRBN TruFoam ($249.99) or B&B Loco ($225) prices. The VP2 lands at $200 with arguably better spin and equal power. It is NOT a value pick: at HK$1650-1850 landed, you are paying flagship money. But it competes directly against paddles HK$2,000+ in our list and wins on spin sub-score.

HK reality

11six24.com ships direct, no Amazon listing. Expect 10-14 day landed delivery and US-based customer service for any warranty issues. Customs at this price tier typically adds HK$60-120 depending on declared value. No HK retail stockists for 11SIX24 paddles as of May 2026.

Bottom line

The strongest foam-core power paddle in the sub-flagship tier in 2026. If you primarily play to spin (third-shot drops with bite, kick serves, ATPs with shape), the VP2 should be on your shortlist next to the CRBN TruFoam Barrage and B&B Loco. The VP1 remains the better pick if you want $100 and don't mind the snappier honeycomb-plus-foam-edge feel; the VP2 is the right answer if you want full-foam construction and the best spin grit available at this price point.

What players are saying

Player feedback curated from active pickleball communities, ranked by how many other players agreed. No cherry-picking.

Looks like 11six24 signed Dekel Bar and now has a new paddle coming out shortly: That new paddle is the Vapor Power 2 with HexGrit, a new technical advancement for the brand. It's also the first full-foam paddle from 11Six24.

11six24 Vapor Power 2 launches today. TLDR: It takes a lot of the things people loved about the vapor power and alpha pro power and brings them together in a foam-core build.

I received mine, played about 6 hours with it, and I absolutely LOVE it. Big sweet spot, spin is insane, easy to shape, haven't found any issues with control.
21 agreed
Vatic Pro V-sol is an amazing Gen 4 Paddle for less than $100. Grit lasts but not what they are saying Vapor Power 2 Hexgrit will last. Time will tell. If your budget can afford the extra $100, go for the VP2 or Spartus P1 if the grit is your key determining factor.
17 agreed
I love my 11six24 VP2 so much I freely advertise it (not an ambassador). I can't believe anyone chooses to pay $200+ for a paddle that doesn't have long lasting grit that's been proven.
