Same 16mm polypropylene-honeycomb-with-foam-edge core and 16.25" × 7.75" hybrid shape as the Vapor Power, but the face swaps from the CFC triple-layer (2 layers T700 carbon + fiberglass) to FCC (fiber-carbon composite with a fiberglass activation layer). The net effect is a softer-feeling face on the same frame. US$69.99 direct (down from $149.99 MSRP).

How it plays

The face change is the whole story. Same frame, same core, same reach as the Vapor Power, but the FCC face dulls the pop and lengthens the dwell at contact. You get a more controlled feel at the kitchen and on resets without giving up the Vapor's hybrid geometry. One community owner described it alongside the Vapor Power as "excellent" — the model is undersignalled relative to its quality.
